Easter Lady Bunny Amigurumi Free Crochet Pattern
Materials:
1) Acrylic: yarn weight Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi) (400 meters/100 gr), e.g. “Detskaya novinka” by Pehorka –
gray, pink, lilac, white, different colors as you like
2) Any fluffy thin yarn for a blouse – violet
3) Hook 2,0 mm = US Steel Crochet Hook 4, Needles 2.0 mm (for the blouse)
4) Thin wire (0,8-0,9 mm)
5) Padding polyester
6) Thin plastic or cardboard (for a bonnet base), thin fishing line (for whiskers)
7) Acrylic paints or embroidery floss or thin cotton yarn (for eyes)
Legend and used stitches:
Amigurumi ring – make double adjustable ring
Ch – chain
Sl st – slip stitch
Sc – single crochet
Hdc – half double crochet
Dc – double crochet
Crab stitch
(24) – the number of stitches in a crocheted round (row)
“Dec” – decrease – crochet two stitches of the previous round (row) together
“Inc” – increase – crochet two stitches into one stitch of the previous round (row)

How to change the thread neatly:
- Changing the thread when you crochet with single crochets:
Cut the thread in the place of changing and leave the end 10-12 cm. Pull out the end. Form the neatly loop with the
help of needle. Fix and hide the end wrong side.
Fasten the thread of new color at the formed loop – cast on 1 chain. Continue to crochet the round.
Skip the attaching loop and go to the next round. First loop of the next round is marked with blue arrow. Continue to crochet the next round.
- Changing the thread when you crochet with double crochets:
Cut the thread in the place of changing and leave the end 10-12 cm. Pull out the end. Form the neatly loop with the help of needle. Fix and hide the end wrong side.
Fasten the thread of new color at the formed loop – cast on 2 chains.
Continue to crochet the round follow the pattern. Then skip the first two chains and go to the next round. First loop of the next round is marked with blue arrow. Continue to crochet the next round.
Hand (2 pieces):
Prepare wire with a length of about 40 cm for each hand. Fold it in half, shape and twist as shown on a picture.
Crochet gray thread circular (spirally).
1 round – amigurumi ring, 6 Sc (6)

Stop crochet, insert rounded end of wire into the crocheted part, do not fill a wrist of padding polyester (!!!).
Continue to crochet.

the crochet clockwise, 3 Sc (another side of the chain), 2 Sc in the last loop of the round 1 round (12)

Now we need to crochet a heel.

Bend wire frame as shown on a picture. Cut excess ends of wire of one leg (shorter one) and twist it around the
second leg’s wire. Wrap the Scotch tape.

Finish crochet, break off yarn, fix and hide the end of the thread.
Dress:
Crochet circular. Change colors of the thread every two rounds.
1 round – cast on 54 Chs, close to the ring and crochet 54 Sc by the round (54)

Put the dress detail on the body.
Crochet next round (green color of the thread in my case) capturing loops of both details at the same time. It will be 48th round of the body. The crochet start must be located at the right side of the body

Bend wire of the hands as shown on a picture, form shoulders (pic. 8). Cut excess ends of the hands’ wireframe and
twist it around the body’s wireframe. Wrap the Scotch tape.
Fill the body of padding polyester tightly.

Sew or glue black beads. You can decorate the eyes with eyelashes.
Cut the ends of the wireframe, insert it into the head, sew the neck to the head.
Tail:
Make a big pompom for a tail. Use gray or white thread. Sew it to the body back.
Whiskers:
Cut segments of a fishing line for the length of about 10 cm. Fold it in half and fix it to the muzzle with a hook.
